Hey, I’m Amanda!
I’m Amanda Hietter, a Retreat Strategist and the founder of Across the Horizon Travel. I help coaches, speakers, entrepreneurs, organizations, and community leaders turn their vision for a retreat into an unforgettable experience, without having to carry all the logistics themselves.
After more than 15 years working as a paralegal, I took a leap of faith, left corporate life, and built a business around something I’ve always loved: bringing people together and creating experiences that make an impact.

Who is the Heat Up Your Retreats Mastermind for?
This community is designed for coaches, speakers, entrepreneurs, and leaders who want to create, launch, market, or grow profitable retreats and in-person events.
Do I need to have a retreat planned before joining?
No. You can join whether you are developing your first idea, actively planning an upcoming retreat, or looking to improve an existing offer.
What is included in my membership?
Your membership includes two live mastermind sessions each month, access to the Retreat Ready Kit, guest expert trainings, community support, and access to session recordings.
What happens during the live mastermind sessions?
You will receive practical guidance, participate in focused discussions, work through business challenges, and have opportunities to receive feedback through hot seats and group masterminding.
When are the live sessions held?
The Retreat Roundtable is held on the second Tuesday of each month, and the Retreat Workshop is held on the fourth Thursday. Both sessions begin at 6:00 p.m. Central Time.

The Retreat Ready Kit is a step-by-step collection of resources, templates, and tools designed to help you plan, price, promote, and prepare your retreat with greater confidence.
What if I cannot attend a live session?
Recordings are added to the community’s learning area so you can watch them when it works for your schedule.
Will I receive personalized support?
Yes. Members can bring questions and challenges to the live sessions, receive feedback during hot seats, and connect with other retreat-focused leaders inside the community.
